Welcome! My name is Breanna
Martinez and I am a Communication Studies graduate from San Jose State
University. Through my journey as a Communication Studies major there have been
many skills and techniques that I have leaned to help shape who I am today. The
material that we learn through our courses in the Communication Studies
department not only apply in professional settings, but also in our everyday
environment. The courses in this major are designed to teach students material,
then be able apply it to activities or experiences outside of the
classroom. This is meant to deepen our understanding of course materials
as we engage in meaningful ways with the concepts that we learn in the courses.
San Jose States Communication Studies Department has a unique way of separating
courses into three major areas, all resulting in different outcome goals that
make this department so diverse. I welcome you to explore the tabs above
